Always thinking....always random
here we go
I discovered the most amazing talent after becoming a mom: multitasking while driving. Is it dangerous...probably. Is it necessary...absolutely. I can grab toys, make snacks, answer the phone, open water bottles with one hand, wipe a nose, all at the same time. Given the proper tools I'm sure I could make a meal while driving.
After two weeks in a small town (Bear Lake) I was over seeing cows and barns. On the drive home I almost drove to Salt Lake just to see tall buildings...and multiple buildings, all around each other. I am not made for the country.
I also realized I couldn't live on a farm (for multiple reasons) but for one I would hate not having neighbors!! I was left alone in Bear Lake for one night with out Sam or anyone else and I was completely convinced Mason and I were going to be murdered and no one would know because there aren't any neighbors that I could run to. Or anyone around to hear me/ save me. And I was convinced there were people hiding in the bushes but no one would be able to alert me about them because there wasn't anyone else around. It was straight up scary.
When, where, and why did the Affliction and Tap Out brand become popular? I do NOT get it.
This could be a WHOLE post in and of itself, but I will refrain in order to not offend people. Ladies if your husband owns any of these items...burn them, along with his bedazzled jeans, and elf looking shoes with dragons on the side. You're welcome.
Ikea is genius for putting a restaurant in their store. Are they not? By the time you make it through the show room you are famished and exhausted...of course you need food, you have been wandering for hours and you haven't even made it down stairs yet. Can you imagine if Target had a legit restaurant in their stores. I would never leave.
Is Real Housewives of New Jersey the best show on TV? Probably.
Should I be concerned when we pull into our driveway after two weeks of vacation and my little boy starts screaming "I'm not going home, I'm not!!"
Can someone please explain to me the phenomenon behind the stick figure families that everyone has on the back of their cars?!! HOW did this become so insanely popular?! I'm not judging just seriously curious.
Is it normal to feel the need to redecorate your house every three months? Just say yes...it will make Sam feel better.
I love blogging....and there are a lot of amazing bloggers out there...but sometimes when you look at their pictures or follow them on instagram and every part of their day is extremely talented and artsy I want to scream/puke/ pass out from exhaustion. I mean their breakfast is hipster and creative for crying out loud! They will post a picture of wheat toast with ground peanut butter, and the honey drizzled in the form of a chevron pattern, with a mug of cocoa with whip cream in the design of a flower, with fresh berries picked from the field, and a bowl of steal cut oats, in front of their Apple computer, with their adorable children dressed like they walked out of a magazine, playing so quietly in the background with vintage toys they "just picked up". AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Is their life for real? Do you for real live like that? Does that happen everyday? and how are you not totally exhausted by lunch? Because we are lucky if we get a pop tart and maybe a glass of milk in the morning after we have watched an hour of mickey mouse club house so our eyes can begin to open.

Sometimes it's too much ladies...toooooo much!
Mason cracks me up on the daily...but yesterday he was riding his scooter and he has a bike bell on the front... he has been obsessed with Peter Pan lately....so I rang the little bell on his scooter and he said "hey mom don't touch my Tinkerbell"
Happy Thursday...it's almost the weekend!

LoVe this post!!! Amen sista!
so funny!!
reminds me of back when i would pick hugh up from a friends/cousins house he used to yell "no!" & start crying the minute he saw me and then proceed to throw a huge tantrum about leaving. I would always think....'wow is it that bad to be home with me??" that was a fun 2-3yr old phase. Now it doesn't like to leave, but he runs & hugs me at the door when I arrive :)
Love your random thoughts. I want more of them!
I shook my head (agreeing with you!) & laughed at everyone of them.
Welcome back to the blogging world sis!
