A Little Trunk or Treat

Every year our neighborhood/ ward has a trunk or treat for the kiddo's and a chili cook off and derby car race (lets be honest here) for the adults. 

It's something we look forward to every year since we don't have many "parties" these days to get dressed up and go to. Plus Mason gets to wear his costume at least twice which makes me feel better about not being a crafty mom and buying his costume every year :)

Luckily we finally settled on a costume "football guy" that he was really excited about. I was worried about the "poop or something" comment and worked extra hard on convincing him just how awesome this costume really was. In the end he loves it....and he looks super cute. 

 he liked to just stand there and stare at the people until they felt uncomfortable and ended up giving him another piece of candy
