We have been out of the fun weekend loop for a couple months now. I've been too tired and luckily so has Sam. But I have been feeling a little better, so it's seems like we are getting our mojo back!
Last weekend we had a blast. (and kept Mason entertained yay!)
Friday my cute parents took me, Mason, and my little sis to the zoo. It was a BEAUTIFUL fall weather, perfect for a little out door activity! Mason is always a big fan of the Zoo even though we can zip through there pretty quick considering his attention span is .5 seconds. But he loves to wave and yell at the animals, and of course take a ride on the merry go round.
That night Sam, Mason and I had a fun date night out to Park Stone where I was able to full fill my unhealthy craving for a wedge salad that I had been having since Vegas.
Saturday was just as exciting. We ventured down south to the Cornbelly's Corn Maze at Thanksgiving Point. It was in a nut shell amazing. So many activities, games, parades, mazes, train rides, hay rides, slides, the list goes on. We decided to go on Saturday which probably wasn't the best idea..it was slammed and we had to wait forever for food...but other than that we had an awesome time and Mase man was in heaven. Little kid outdoor paradise.
Note to self: Do not wear a giant sweater on a 72 degree day. I was sweating and literally dying at one point...luckily but not luckily I had a shade (body hugging, undershirt) shirt on underneath the sweater. I ended up stripping and looking like a sausage. My 14 week "belly" does not look pregnant it looks like I ate one too many cinnabons and I'm bloated. It was a horrific. But what can you do....it's all in the name of Family Fun right?!
That night we enjoyed a wonderful date night with our bestest buds at the Dodo in SL.
We ordered the exact same meals, laughed, and had much needed adult time minus kiddos!
It was an exhausting but fun weekend. I love getting out of the house and enjoying all of the fun fall activities. Hopefully we can keep our mojo up....or at least have random spurts of it.
