I think A LOT of Moms compare themselves to these amazing SUPER MOTHERS out there! Almost 4 years ago I became a Mom for the 1st time (now I have 2) and not having a clue as to what I had just gotten myself into (in a good way), I started noticing everything that other Moms my age did with their children.. I have some pretty darn AMAZING SIL's that are incredible multi-taskers, ex: getting their craft on while cooking a delish 5 course dinner, playing with their kiddos, doing the laundry that is NEVER piled up, working, doing their busy church callings, and on top of it all they look like they spent 3 hours getting ready in front of the bathroom mirror!! I have compared and compared myself to other wonderful Mothers in this world, and I have come to admit that I am just not capable of carrying a load that big! I am DIFFERENT and can only handle so much, AND that is OK..
I LOVE your Guilt Free Mothering Moto.. I am definitely going to put this on my mirror to remind myself that I dont need to compare myself to others, I am ME and that Has to be good enough!

I love this! And you said it perfectly cam. I am in dire need of our therapy sessions. Seriously, can we all just live in the same place so we can have weekly sessions?

I needed to hear this. I felt like today we watched tv and movies all day because I didn't feel well. I felt horrible all night that I didn't play more with my boys. So thanks for this. I love your blog ;)

I like this! When baby Cash arrives in march,sadly i picture perfection. House spotless, dinner for the hubbs when he gets home from work, a perfectly groomed well dressed baby, having my pre baby body back. Then i picure being the perfect mom and domestic wife. And if i fail i know i will be disapointed, but all that crap isnt important so i need to remember this too.
